New engine for the FB!

So the 12a still had some life at 235,000 MI, but it was leaking badly and not performing like it used too. So now the FB is being overhauled...Engine is going to be a fresh 13B built by rotor sports racing.

Powerplant upgrades include:
-rebuilt / new 4 port 13B....
-high pressure seals all the way around
-streetport
-Racing beat streetport intake system
-Holley carb
-mallory fuel pump
-mallort fuel pressure reg
-Racing Beat headers, catback

Other upgrades
-new steering gearbox
-tranny rebuild
-exedy clutch
-KYB struts

Most of these upgrades are done, but still waiting for a 13b k-member since the engine will not mount to the existing one due to a different bolt pattern. Also anticipate issues with the stock 12a radiator. Still anticipating 190~HP

Don't know about all the seals, but I believe it has conventional 2-piece 3mm apex seals along with corner seal springs from a 93. O-rings gaskets and other engine stuff is probably upgraded or from other generations too... It shall be dubbed the Frankenstein engine!

I've got a similar setup with a Sterling carb. Still needs dyno tuning but it goes a lot better than the 12A. 190 might be a high goal. It can be done, but it will take a lot of tweaking, both with the tuning and the exhaust. Everything has to be pretty much perfect. I like the super clean engine and trans. Will make the engine bay easy to show off.
