My old rx7 vin#

Just found a old registration on my 83 gsl. Anyone know of anything that I can check the vin# for free. Was just wondering how the old girl is doing. I thought it was pretty cool that I found it after 25 years. Would be a shame if I can't do anything with it. Purchase date shows 3/7/89. I was a young pup then.

Our vins won't show up in most lookups because they aren't in the now standard format. You
can try seeing if someone registered it in this 1st gen section I guess. Or ask your DMV to look it
up if they will.

Thanks tg. Ddnt find her in the registry. The only thing I can get from all the (free) vin searches is the year and make and sub model. But with the (free vin search) I could pay and get some sort of info. O well she prob ddnt make it. I sold her to a young man in about 94. God bless her. She was a pretty 1. Lol

Mazda wasn't much help either. its a K3 silver/L0 interior. 1st sold 4/29/83. its got no (recent, 5 years?) service history at a dealership, no listed owner either

selling dealership was 33713, which isn't a good number anymore, it says MS for the state...

oddly it came though port hueneme, so its BEEN to CA

i used to work at the dealership, so i ran the warranty history. L0 is the color code for the interior, but which one that actually is, i don't know, there is a chart in the parts catalog
