LOL .... Because I can.

Why not?

I bought these cheap steelies to check for fitment before buying my current wheels. Then I had 4 steel wheels just sitting around; and I thought why not make them two big wheels. On the wheel balencer at work they have less than .010" runout.

I seriously considered driving up to DGRR in 2019 with them, but I decided not to. I can hear the cries of the trans and rear end while I accelerate. They can't be good for the rear bearings either.

Also, they rub the outside of the wheel well really bad.

At this point they might not get mounted back on. After seeing all yall's nice first gen's I've decided to "un-hack" my FB. Not change it but rather clean it up, re-paint, tuck and wrap wires etc. So these trans killers migh just stay in my shed till I get another FB and drop a supercharged jeep 4.0 engine in it. Figure a giant strait six with a blower on it sticking through the hood of a first gen would be the right car for duelly wheels.
