Fair enough, I just thought it was interesting since there is a board on here dedicated to other cars xD But, that's just my OCD kicking in, it doesn't really matter what board stuff like this gets put in, or, I don't think so anyways xD

Got the new clutch in. it feels pretty good and the car is more enjoyable to drive. from start to finish it took me about 10 hours. i was extremely meticulous and made sure the job was done correctly. the car has the black tag ZF transmission. not sure exactly what that indicates but i have heard there is a difference between a black tag and a blue tag trans. the shift **** is a little loose.. i will address that tomorrow morning. for now though, it feels great to have a clutch that works properly!

well i'm not sure why you think that i think that think that the german ZF isn't a good transmission...........because my point was that chevolet advertising that plays on american patriotism is undercut by corvettes have german transmissions.
and i forgot "chevy, like a rock"
and i guess ZF is a good transmission, i never there was a ZF transmission

I only now understood what that guy was saying..kind of difficult to understand with the horrible grammar. You know how many manufacturers outsource drivetrain components? A lot. Mazda, Honda, GM, Chrysler etc etc. Many of which have outsourced transmissions from different countries.
