hey guys i recently bought a sun silver 79 s model rx that is in rough shape and have been working on it for a few minths now and just wanted to post some pics



rx7 s model sitting in same spot for 25 years $100

i just bought a 85 with a little rust and i was just thinking maybe i take drivetrain and scrap the body but you gave me motivation to go ahead and fix it. keep us posted

you have a lot of work ahead of you sir! the best thing you can do is stay focused and repair that rust properly. you will learn soo much about the car ni the process and the sense of accomplishment will be great! keep us posted (with higer resolution pics that we dont have to click)

having trouble

hey guys i've been trying to get the tar up off the floor to patch it and i have had trouble getting the tar up does anyone know a easy way to get the tar off the floor??

I don't know about where you live but around here a fish plant. But most companies that ship food would have some. If not you can scrape the **** out of it. I started mine with a wide dull chisel. They're old cars so the tar is pretty dried out. It'll come up in reasonable chunks. It's a slow process
