Don't really have a favorite band... Mostly listen to older thrash like exodus, coroner, kreator, tankard; also listen to a lot of black/death/epic metal like stormlord/morbid angel/sapthuran/bathory.

awesome bands morbid angel, spthuran, and exodus is awesome. i consider thrash and death very closely related, is there really a difference? i have trouble identifying some genres sometimes haha.

if you want to post links to your favorite videos, that'll make it even cooler

I like rock from now and the 90's IE: Rage Against The Machine, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Fuel, Papa Roach, All That Remains, Avenged Sevenfold, Chevelle, Drowning Pool, Incubus, Hellyeah, Mudvayne, Nonpoint, etc, etc. basically anything with a nice hard beat, a catchy tune that really stands out and good vocals. Some screaming is OK but if none of the song can be understood then why sing it, in my opinion. In the 7 it's always cranked and pounding.

I have pretty wide-ranging interests, but "favorite" is (like with most people), the music from my teens/early 20's: classic rock, late 60's on.

Personal favs include Bob Seger, Meat Loaf, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac, Three Dog Night, Zep, AC/DC, Golden Earring, Iron Butterfly, and on up through the late 80's.

In the RX, of course, I only ever play period-appropriate music through my period-appropriate (read as: tinny no-bass) sound system.

My favorite band and the one you'll find me jamming to on long drives in the 7 is Rammstein. Can't undertstand a word of german but I love the music.

wow, that actually surprised me, i just didn't see you as a rammstein guy.

I also have a wide variety of taste, from death metal Slayer, to early Leonard Cohen, Velvet underground, pink floyd, .. don't really like glamor rock, but there are a few good songs, and good bands like queen and journey. nirvana, soundgarden, audioslave. bad brains, black flag, slight pop like Katy Perry, and colbie callait, heavier stuff like The Agonist, Mushroomhead, ....that's just to name a few, no country or techno for me tho, closest i get to country is The Avett Brothers (punk/bluegrass), came to merlefest, and they put on a hell of a show and got hooked on them

I like most everything. I listen to just about everything from big band on. Just very little gangster rap and britney stears crap (and the like). Also no american idol crap. I do listen to a lot of 90's rock, mostly mid 90's. High School FTW.
