Luxo model. I've never had that. But I've never been beyond GS.

gsl/gslse had that. don't think the GSL had it in '83. would have to check my 83 to confirm.

GXL in FC had it too.

83 GSL Special Edition doesn't have that. I have those seats currently in my car and they don't have that option. Thanks a lot, now I wish they did! The other seats of mine are the stock 84 GS ones..

If you hold the lever up and move back and forth its like a rocking chair.

I don't like those seats. They sit up higher to allow for the tilt adjustment and I don't fit like I want to. I have to lean the seat back more or my head hits on the head liner.

You just need to be 5'8' or shorter and you'll fit fine. Have your barber take a couple of inches off the top.

Or talk to your podiatrist to get a couple inches taken off the bottom

My GSL-SE has those seats. I loved them on the drive from Daytona to Asheville.

Argggh, my 83 GSL doesn't have that adjustment! Which is probably a good thing since at 5'10" and 250lbs it's a bit of a tight fit even with the seat all the way back!

I just discovered that adjustment a few weeks ago, and was equally impressed (as OP).

looks just like my 86 GXL FC seats I swapped into my FB. That is just one of several improvements over the stock FB base seats. Do those seats also have the lumbar adjuster **** on the right side, behind your right elbow like the FC ones?

Yes, mine has the lumbar adjuster.

I hate these seats for sporty driving though (leather, not very good side bolsters)

Anyone wanna trade for cloth?

Nah the clothies is where its at. I like the look of the leathers but as you said - no traction!

These seats also have the lumbar adjust, but honestly even at its lowest setting its digging into my back.

I'm thinking that unless i get these re-done (will have to tighten the rails and pivots somehow), i'm probably going to go with a Recaro Experts redone in burgundy
