Merry Christmas..

I got a Monogram SA /24th scale model kit, along with this nifty garage model by Fujimi to put it in. It even has a working spring loaded hoist and the rx-7 model kit is the only one that has a detailed chassis, interior and a little 12A engine.

eBay. You can still buy the garage and the tools, though keep in mind the garage is one kit and the tools are another.

Have fun finding the car model. www.hwjapan.com has some other models, though I'd check this page to find out what detail you are getting http://www.xs4all.nl/~erix7/erx7modl.html
