Do it Warhammer Geek style! One bristle brush and very good magnifying glass.

x.x if those WarHammer guys can make the detail on their little toys stick out that good i think you should be able to do RX7...

Here's a couple ideas:
- take full size badge or a .jpeg logo and print or use a phtotcopier to reduce size to what you need. Either cut out the image and stick it on, or cut out the image to make a stencil.

- I also saw on a show that you can get this shrink paper/plastic stuff. You cut it out in the shape you want and hit it with a heat gun. Not sure if it would be too thick to use or if you could shrink it far enough down to work (you can get in in craft stores).

OK , I couldn't resist . I just bought a monogram '79 model on ebay to replicate my LE.

Great idea mazdaverx. Shall I join your model thread or start anew?

It would be nice to see one of these things completed (I started one or two myself, but have nothing to show).

just thought it might be interesting to have some models together in a thread, thanks , I'll probably join in. Probaly won't start it until the spring. I'm getting my '79 painted back to stock in march and will be sending the model body into the paint booth with it .

I think it would be great if you guys could all post in the same post (ie here) so that we can compare and discuss the results. Maybe I'll even give it another shot.

Dave, we'd love to see your progress pictures but I think you will have to clean out your photobucket account first, it looks like you have exceeded your bandwith.

yeah, i got it back up and running...i opened a new account.... i didnt know how to not exceed the bandwidth... here are some updated pics of the model. i am adding more detail like the coolant bottle. it needs to be gone over with more white so as to mask the brightness of the green and make it appear as if there would be coolant in the overflow bottle.

lol. money is tight, i may have to stick with the stock exhaust for now. "so yeah, i was thinking of turboing the 12A in the model. like, whats required to do that? what are you guys running?" lol that kills me, sorry i had to say it. i was figuring some noob would be asking if i was going to go turbo, lol. although i might do a TII swap in the next SA model that i build.

You should photoshopped the liscence plate fuzzy. I would have laughed.
But you didn't so I'm still a little sad.
