im painting my car tomorrow
what color should i paint it, its a very faded flat black now, im thinking gloss white with a black roof and hood, or green/black. or red/black... what color do yall think i should paint it, what color/arrangment?

He went with white, with a black hood and black body kit. Looked like a really good layout.
All he needs is a whale tail to complete the look.

didnt realize this thread had taken off... the original paint was the sun beam silver...im pretty sure, but i dont think rustoleum makes that color :shrug: heres some pics of it.

its a bees nest. i could definitely use more than one coat, but i had to go to my nephews b-day party. im satisfied with it, considering i did all of the painting and mounted the body kit in less than 12 hours. sure theres some overspray and parts that need more sanding/paint, but it couldnt have looked worse than it did before.

Yes, it was a quick paint job and far from perfect. But it does let you see how the paint scheme will look when finished. I really liked the looks of the car at the race. Have you checked out the "100 dollar paint job" thread? It is about using a roll on method with rustoleum paint, and its supposed to give really good results...
