Idle issue
So my car now runs, and will idle at full-half choke, but when choke is pushed in runs either really bad rough or dies. Would the vacuum line on the distributor be disconnected cause a timing issue? If so should I just T into another vacuum line to create suction?

The vacuum pots on the dizzy don't need to be hooked up for the car to idle. However, if the line that was running to them is left open, that could cause a vacuum leak at part throttle (or whenever the rats nest decides to 'advance' timing). You do not want vacuum going to the pots at idle. If you want to run vac advance without the rats nest, the second to front nipple on the carb spacer provides a timed vacuum signal that works well for it (this you could T into like you said).
Probably a vac leak or dirty carb like Qingdao stated.
