The west coast would save me on shipping costs for much of this stuff.
Shipping something to Texas is brutal when it comes to heavy stuff.

Engine stuff......
12a Baffle Plate # 4352 10 709
This baffle plate will maintain an adequate oil supply around the oil pick up while corning and braking,

Oil Pump # 1058 78 220A
The shaft and rotor in the competition oil pump are more resistant to wear and seizing, as they have been heat treated. The size is larger 17.5mm to 15mm standard. Note:the 12a Turbo pump is the same size, but with out the heat treatment.

Tension Bolt #4352 10 451A-12a # 4801 10 451-13b
These are stock bolts with rubber bonded to them which dampens out vibrations at certain frequencies (around 9.5K) and prolongs bolt life.

Race Rotor Bearing #4801 11 111
Has a deeper oil grove.

Outer Oil Control Seal Springs Front # 4352 11 353 and Rear # 4352 11 363
The increased pressure of the spring, different from the standard. It has 13kg/cm as compared to 8kg/cm, prohibits combustion gas blowby.
Front with yellow marking

Rear with Blue marking

Breath-taking collection! Most all laughably unusable by us street warriors, but a BIG tip-o-the-hat to an amazing collection of mazda unobtainium race-bling! As a collector myself of some bits of uber-NOS SA swag, I pose this question to you... Dare you use it??
;D
Note a lot of 0820- PN prefixes, which, if my memory serves, harkens back to the R100 and Cosmo part numbers!? makes you wonder how long mazda carried these racing bits thru the various models??
Fabulous stuff. Thanks for posting!!

12a Rotor # 4352 11 100
The competition rotor has the MDR (medium deep recess) combusion chamber. The rotor gear is snap ringed in place and the apex seal groove is chrome plated to reduce wear.

From left to right - MFR one, Early Rx2/3 single dizzy and Rx7 type

This is the chrome plating
MFR

Early SD Rx2/3

The rotor weights 12a's (Approx)
MFR = 4260 gms
Rx2/3 = 4350 gms
Rx7 = 4350 gms (series 1 & 2)
Rx7 = 4100 gms (series 3)

i checked in 2007 when the competition prep book surfaced, and i was surprised at how much stuff was still available. which isn't bad for 30 year old racing parts!

Eccentric Shaft # 4352 11 400
The material and configuration are identical to stock, but to reduce the possibility of bearing seizure, due to shaft flex. They have machined the rear half of the bearing journal by 20 thou.

Counter Weight set # 4352 11 010
Those are balanced to suit the MFR 12a rotors. They are billet steel instead of cast-iron.

the flywheel u posted, that's a mazda factory race one? bought one from a guy a while back(early 90s) claimed it was MFR. flywheel and counter weight all one piece. no pix as it's what i'm currently running. it's lighter by feel than the RB light weight steel + cw.

That's pic's a genuine MFR flywheel, as you can see the rear counter weight aswell. They were 2 pieces....I dont know of the one you have, could have been made by one of the Japanese performance companies.

brilliant collection!

i remember wanting to acquire many of those parts when i was planning to build my first car back in the early 90s. funnily enough, the allure is tilll there for some of them. for example, i'd still love to get my hands on one of those oil coolers, race water pumps or competition rotor sets.

then there are the parts i'd never even heard of until today - like the wipers.

good stuff!

Sweet stuff.
Where did you get the syncronizer rings ?
Had been sourcing them for two years and ended up having a pro shop replicate them..
