how many guys here have Leather Sports

just wondering how many guys here have a 1980 Leather Sport. there were only 2500 made. 1000 in brilliant black, 1000 in aurora white, and 500 in solar gold. i've got one in solar gold. i think LongDuck has one in brilliant black, and i think ther are a couple other solar golds here.

If I found LE's in a junk yard I'd be snagging up the rims like nothing else. Get me a pretty penny or two for those suckers.

None of them still had wheels I pulled a badge off the B-Pillar of one though, just to add to the collection.

Ive also seen the "X" edition or something like that in a junk yard, I have one of those badges somewhere as well.

I seen an LE in the junkyard with the Rims and Centercaps but I didn't want to buy them and get stuck if I couldn't sell them.

You'll never get stuck with LE wheels.... 79 or 83, both are very desireable....

i agree with you kymber. the LS is a very neat car. i really need to get out and drive mine more this summer. it looks good in the garage but even better out on the road. here's one pic that was saved before the old hard drive seemed to stop working:

I think I have a leather sport, but mine is a 79 SA. I have a all black 'leather' interior and those burberry black leather seats, if you guys saw my other posts. But I'm not absolutely sure since I don't have those waffle rims and the car is silver
