Nice "period correct" women. They remind me of some 70's Playboys I found... lets just say before the distruction of the Brazilian rainforest. I loved looking at the old car advertisements in those.

hi guys,
I have spend a bunch of time researching these cars. I own the ultima.
You guys have some cool stuff here. I contacted the guy on the black and gold car last year, when he tried to sell it then. He sent a bunch of pics. Still around, I see.
The ultima is a one only car. It started out with a trunk. like the other PA cars,
but due to too much body flex for the high horsepower the large single turbo put out, the trunk was welded shut. It has about 7k miles only on it as it hasn't been driven or registered since around 1984. It is now registered and legal in california.
The PA cars had a trunk out of a 626, but it sure is hard to find a donor car now.
Rotarydude has a super original PA. He's a stand up guy. He won't call it a Pacific Advatar. So sad. He should post some pics
I hope Directfreak is right: I have been working on the ultima for two years - first I redid the suspension to full gsle-se racing beat stuff. Then I added the full respeed rack and pinion changeover. Then I changed to the 13B turbo motor and trans with a nice stage 4 turbo upgrade and many goodies. I still have to figure out wheels. Then a new interior is in the works. A roll bar is planned and a trunk. No lie. The ultima is alive! The degree of custom work we have had to do is significant. The intercooler and cooling setup we did is trick.
I drove the PA stock and thought it needed these upgrades. The ultima seeemed to be a natural since it was already a PA on steriods. This is all a judgment thing and I hope the mix of old and new is taken well.

Too funny. No pistons in the ultima's future. i will put together some pics.
This is a project that definitely is more complex than first thought.
I decided on the the 1988 13T turbo motor but now need a tuner for the haltek e6K .
I have been contemplating a change to the newer twin turbo set up in the future.
I would love to see the black and gold P A car come to the west coast.
Your turn for some pics - dave
