Interesting Mike-
numbers really are all over the place. Will be interesting to see if economy downturn affects prices... you'd think it would but ebay listings seem as optimistic as ever...

I'd be surprised if any of us actually see the day we could "get rich" off our investments. Not that I'm selling anytime soon. I'm still in the collecting mode. Guess that's what makes us "enthusists".

Recent Sales Price Trends for 2nd Generation RX-7s ('86-'87)

For prospective buyers / sellers thought it might be interesting to compare 1st Gen sales statistics with those of the two 2nd Gen model years ('86 and '87) that Keith Martin's Collector Car Price Tracker is currently tracking. I'm assuming that more 2nd Gen model years beyond 1987 will be tracked as years progress.

I wish they'd give the std dev, too... so you could figure out the outliers. Do they offer the whole data, or just these summaries?

Any chance of a link, or is this from a dead-tree source?

So first gens, on average, are actually worth more than 2nd gens now? Thats pretty cool. I know the more rare S5, TII and GTU cars probably pull more in general, but the amount of dilapidated and 'drifted out' S4 cars pulls down their value pretty bad.

1st Gen Values

Thats interesting an 85 GSL-SE with 50,000 miles went for 9 grand on Craigs list I wonder what mine would be worth have an 84 GSL-SE with 42000 original miles on it.
Not that I want to part with mine I love it.

They are so difficult, nearly impossible to find in good condition and unmolested.
