Funny thing happened today

I was in the kitchen packing the diaper bag for our daughter before heading out to finish up some Christmas shopping, and noticed a car pull into one of the driveways. I thought, hmmm, I don't know anyone with a white Lincoln Mark 8. He gets out of the car with an object and leans it up against the tree in front of the RX-7, and leaves. So, I bundle up and went out to see what was up, and found a used but serviceable Racing Beat header and 2-into-1 piece for single exhaust with the words "Merry Christmas RX-7 header" in red sharpie on it!

I have no idea who you are, or if you are ever on this site, but just in case, THANK YOU!

I am just assuming that it is for a 12a, but off hand, does anyone know the measurement for the distance between the tubes for 12a vs. 13b?

About 4.7" for the 12A, center-to-center, I believe.

Congrats!

my guess is that he used to have an RX-7 but doesn't any more. and he had that header just laying around and saw you owned a 7 and thought you might need it more than he will.

what a nice guy
