Awesome! My 85 se had the same floppy antenna. And then the floppy part broke off. Looks much better now, and still get reception. Sweet Car.

The car could use a little TLC, but it's absolutely complete. Nice score. So what are your problems getting it going?

well it had alot of vacuum lines cracking so i replaced them and also i replaced the fuel injector o-rings, the only other thing i can see wrong is the connectors on the wiring harness for the injectors crumpled when i took them off so im replacing them today.

Its got spark and its got fuel to the fuel rail. the car would run for as long as i could hold some starting fluid going into the intake but thats it so it leads me to believe its a fuel issue...we will see though tomorrow after i get the connectors on. it could just be the old gas in it who knows???

UPDATE: put the new Injector connectors on and tried to start....nothing! So I tear it all back apart and pull the injectors out and turn it over with the injectors out of the holes and only one of them just barely spray a mist out....so now i got to send them off to get cleaned and find some way to get the whole half of a tank of old gas out of it...(i really, really, really dont wanna pull the tank out in my apartment complex parking lot)...

Tires are shot. Don't let yourself drive on old tires.

Ya know, the EXACT same thing happened to me. Were those antenna factory options? Most first gens I see have the retractable ones.

Damn Kory I had a set of old Bridgestone 205-60/13 RE71 tires that I just took to the recyclers on Monday. They were old but good tires still.

Thanks! I hopefully can get it running soon, i am taking the injectors to school tomorrow to put on our injector tester to see how they are spraying. I let them sit in seafoam all night last night and this morning the seafoam was starting to change colors so i think it got something out

Just remember that the 84-85s have a drain plug in the bottom of the gas tank.

Sweetness Kory. I'm glad you got that SA from Robby. If your wanting to go the route of the SE engine, what's your plans for the 12A that's in the SA? We should talk. If it was me, I would swap over the entire fuel injection and wiring from the SE. Just my opinion. I likes me some fuel injection

I considered it...I just dont know what to do as far as mounting the wiring and everything...plus an SA with fuel injection...just dont seem right :P
