That's definitely not going to happen in the front or rear with the offsets currently being offered by Enkei.

You might be able to do the front with a smaller spacer and a conventional strut perch and lowering spring combo. The rear you would need a higher offset to fit the 225 tire.

yes I know. Now I have 15x7 + 30 with 205 Kuhmo XS with no problem a lot space remaining . Seems that + 30 offset is perfect for what I want to do

Nice setup! Just wondering: could you use the 25mm offset on all four with 195/50 tires?

Ask and you shall receive.

For anyone with an SE or SE suspension these are a relative bargain for new wheels compared to the price of used ones. There isn't a wide range of offsets but they can be made to work on the GSL SE with a spacer.

The car is lowered on RE Speed Race coilovers, Racing Beat roll center adjusters, ST front sway bar with front and rear Tokico Illuminas.

uh holy ****. I am writing your setup down.. just to be clear, you just have spacers up front right ?
also what tires are you rollin' ?

I've got +20 on my current ride (16x7) and 195/50.... no spacer needed. Seems like a prior car I had either 195/50 or 205/50 on a +17 wheel without a spacer. Can't recall for sure.

Of course, stock height on both cars. YMMV. :-)

Yup I have a 15mm Project Kics spacer in the front to clear the front struts and coilover spring perch. You would need it either way with stock struts.

Tires are 195/50 and 205/50 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec.

Thanks!

The 15 x 8's with a 25 offset will not fit in the fenders in the front and would stick out well past the fender. The 15 x 7's I have in the front are a 38 offset and with a 15mm spacer it makes it a 23 offset in the front which is flush with the front fenders.

15 x 8 with a 195/50 has that stretched tire look that I am not a fan of.

Now I am getting it.... so, the reality is this: up front, you are running a 22mm offset after the spacer.

Then, it would stand to readon that the 25mm offset version of that wheel would fit without a spacer.

That would be so if they offered the new wheel in 15 x 7 +25, but they don't. If you were to put the 15 x 8 +25 in the front it would stock out past the front wheel wells since it's an inch wider and only 2 mm lower offset than the front set up I have with the spacers.

don't forget to take into account that by increasing width from 7 to 8, you add 1/2 an inch to each side of the wheel, so make sure you have enough backspacing

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing.

Yes they are, but the ONLY offset the new wheels are offered in 15 x 7 is + 38 and the + 25 is offered in the 15 x 8 only. If they made a 15 x 7 + 25 I would have it on my car instead of the + 38 I have with the spacer.

Bringing this back from the dead N54MPower, as I have a question for you. I'm swapping a GSL-SE suspension into my '85 GS. Did you have to roll the fenders or anything for your setup, or did you clear okay? I'm going to be using fully adjustable suspension also, just like you did. Just wondered if you had to roll any of your fenders to get stuff to fit.

Thanks,
Jamie

Front fenders are stock, no modification. The rear inside lip is rolled in the rear. All of the wheels clear the suspension front and rear so that is not an issue.

Enkei92

Hi,
I really like the Enkei92 but there are limited sizes.
Does anyone with 1 GSL SE/1984 RX7 have the 15 x 8 +25 on the front? Will they fit or can someone with 15x8 let me know if they fit on a stock strut/clear rolled guards?

I like what N54MPower has done, would be good to not use spacers though.

I'm interested in this as well. Although, I don't see why they wouldn't fit, as I'm running 15x7 Panasports with a 0 offset on my SE, front and back.

Seems to me 15x8 with a 195-50-15 up front would work just fine with rolled fenders. yes it would "stick out" because of the 3mm + 13mm (1/2" wider rim each side) but with a stretched tire should fit just fine. Personally I LOVE the stretched tire look so I'm all about it.

So what I'm looking at is:

15x8 +25 195-50-15 front
15x8 +25 205-50-15 rear
rolled fenders front & rear
