Good chance you can PU a replacement OEM dash pad for close to the same $$ if your up to the work of swapping them in. PITA but definitely doable. Archives here has a how-2 (mine). Ebay has them from time-to time. Any 79-83 pad will fit.

the pad thing is kinda odd. the concept is cool but it always ooks silly mounted. i would personally replace the dash with a nice used one. the car will look far better and the end result, while taking more time, will be far greater!

I saw an SA at JCCS this year that had a custom, saddle-stitched black leather cover on the dash. Looked pretty sweet, actually. Probably good $$ to get it done, though.

Anyone have any pictures of a RX with the dash cover on it? Also, it would be harder but if someone has a picture of the carpet dash cover as well...
