at the bracket that holds the e brake cable. car apparently was in a bad fiery wreck and rebuilt before I bought it. Going over bumps, you can hear/feel the driveshaft thumbing the body.

tried lowering the rear trans mounts...new springs...new rear shocks.

1>can a drive shaft shop install smaller diameter drive solid shaft? I worry about the drive shaft suddenly wearing through and snapping.
2>rear spring spacers?

car has been like this since 1990. I inspect the driveshaft every couple of months.
