Dash swaps

Dash swaps
Went to start pulling out my dashboard. Pretty bummed at it's general condition, vent holes are curled up, cracks all along the windshield line. The top of the dash pad is like black. So might have to start looking for a replacement.....
But I was wondering what the deal is with the SA style dashboards, do they swap across the different years? Looks like the Australian 7's have the SA style dash all the way up to 1985! Just curios is all, if a nice clean SA dash pops up, could I put it in my 1985 FB? I like both styles of dashes, but I like clean, not broken nor curled dashes much better
I've been searching all over about this and can't seem to find much. Only how to remove them mainly. Just wondering if anyone knows or has done this themselves?
thanks everyone

there is a place called Just Dashes that will re-cover yours, its $350, but it'll be like new.
the LHD dashes are 79-80, and then 81-83, and 84-85. the 79-80 and 81-83 are really similar, but they are different.

any idea if they swap across years? Like a S1 dash in a S3 car or vice versa? Not sure if the supports are different across the years...
And I checked out just dashes! I even sent them pictures for a quote and they quoted me $1,350! And another 300 just for color matching... could have been a typo I guess, looks like I’ll have to call them

And I checked out just dashes, my dad had them do a dash for a Chevy blazer, looked great. I sent them pictures for a quote and they quoted me $1,350! And another 300 just for color matching...
