Customer's MINT 84 GS

here are some pics of a customer's car that i recently had the pleasure of fixing. spent about 10 hours on the car and the guy who hadn't heard the car run in several years, was extremely pleased with the car! here are some pics:

what was really neat is that i found some original stickers that were installed at the time of build. the first was under the passenger side rear view mirror and the other was on the carpet under the passenger side floor mat. all this is a testament to the originality of the car and the excellent care given by the original owner.

Really nice and really Low mileage! What did you have to do to make it run again?

rebuilt the carb, full tuneup and oil change. i also replaced the bread board on the instrument cluster. it was causing the tachometer to buzz when the engine was running.

That is a great looking FB. Black is sexy, especially with a red interior.

That's the best looking red interior I have seen in an fb. And the paint is black... Beautiful. It may be worth quite a bit more than you think.

Better start making offers now Dave. That car demands garage space.

the guy came back with a broken driver's side mirror and antenna. i replaced the mirror but the antenna remains wounded. i also replaced his gas tank drain plug and crush washer. i again asked him about selling the car and he said he wasn't sure what he wanted to do yet. said he's still enjoying the car, lol. for an Ohio car, its a premium example.
