Criise control

Have an 84 GSL. How do I get cruise control with no rats nest to give vaccum?

I'm not sure you can run CC without that valve/port. It's controlled by some of the other functions of the linkage.

I will have to get under mine and get some pictures, I don't have mine running 100% correctly, but I do have my cruise control working...ish, without the rats nest. I took it on a long drive, and it did work. I've got some cobwebs and things to work out from before I rebuilt it, but that's besides the point. I'll dig under there and get some pictures of what ports I've got my vacuum running through. I'm hoping to get my A/C and Rats nest back in, once I get the car running right.

can't you just use one of the vac ports coming off the base of the carb?

Apologies if I'm a little late to this guy, but my cruise works fine(ish, I'm fighting a finicky carb)
Running though the spacer plate. I don't remember exactly which one I have the vacuum through, but I believe it's the one going directly into the carb, just above the other vacuum ports.
