Front strut trim

I decided not to go with a strut bar on my FB, this car will never be tracked so not really needed.

I added these aluminum strut trim to clean-up/dress up that area, goes well with the rest of the aluminum parts.

These can be used raw or wrapped, painted, powder coated or just cleared to your liking

But,... they... don't... actually... do... anything? Are you here wanting to sell them to forum members?

I saw the same type of post on FB wanting to sell them. I know when I wanted to sell BBK here on the forum, I was required to pay a forum fee to be a merchant, which I did for that time frame.

But..... they.... really..... do.....something

My car has that somewhat clear coating in the engine bay for those cars that sold in the north. Most wasn't applied very nice. When looking at the strut area it just looks ugly. So after searching I couldn't find any that would cover the entire strut tower completely. So I went out to make a set the way I wanted them to look. The key for me was to cover the enire area as best as possible.

After installing them on my car a few members from the Facebook pages ask if I could make some more and I did. I attended the Rotary Showcase 3 show in central Fl and many asked if I had any on hand for sale at that moment and I didn't. I even had 2 people pay me cash for them right at the show not even knowing who I was but they knew the car from FB. A 3rd person sent me paypal while I was speaking to him on the phone while I was at the show.

Some members asked me why I only listed them on Facebook and I told them I do it more for those that have the same ugly proplem I had. I'm not pushing these, you want them pm me. A few asked me to join this forum so I did. I don't sell them on Ebay or Craigslist. Even just on FB a bunch have sold. So some people do want them even if they get no hp out of them, it's just for better looks.

These are all gone and a few more

The only place I have them is on Facebook, I'm not pushing these as a merchant just as a curtesy to other FB owners. Not much money to be made unless hundreds are sold. I'm even thinking of just offering them for a few more months and then just stop. If you want a set fine, if you don't fine. For those that have taken a set I say I'm glad I could help and to enjoy them everytime you open the hood.

This is the 1st FB forum I have joined, the rest of the time I'm at FB. I have this 83 for almost a year now.

If this post is a problem to anyone please let me know and I'll just deleat it
