As mentioned in another thread, many of us have ads and articles from when these cars were in their hey-day. As a test for interest, here's a 2-page, front-and-back advert from Mariah that was an insert to a Rotary Rocket Magazine of that era. This has spent it's life hanging on the back of the garage door as a reminder to me of what a widebody 1st Gen should look like, and over the years, my 84SE has gradually morphed into a ModeFour with the addition of the rear hatch, front airdam, but with a Pacific whale-tail spoiler vs. ModeFour flying whale-tail as sold by Mariah back then. Here you guys go;
If there's interest, maybe we can create a nostalgic articles thread and set some guidelines as a repository of period-correct marketing and advertising. Thoughts?
For posterity - as this was posted Dec-2025 - THIS COMPANY IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. Good luck attempting to contact them, though the parts and molds may have been acquired by someone else. If that's the case, would be great to post that below. Thanks!

Very cool post! A nostalgic article thread would be a fantastic idea! I have quite a few rotary rocket magazines with cool articles and photos that I'd be more than happy to share with the 7 community

I think someone on here has received flares from them.
Actually, I've received a lot more than flares from him. The full GTO body kit for the 1982 - 1985 IMSA cars. Brandon is still producing these parts and many others.
I run my business out of the building that Mariah/Jim Hagerty owned and house a majority of the molds - Brandon has some very good 'glass layers that are able to reproduce Mariah quality parts out of them when needed.
I remember 20 years ago when I owned my last 1st gen and saw the Mariah rear hatch. I was convinced I would get it up until I saw the price tag for it -lol. I really liked how it looked like an Mr2 but only better - IMO.
Not an advertisement, but information I sent away for many years ago via mail. According to the post mark on the envelope, 1981 to be exact. Creative Car Craft's body kit. Today, I'm thankful that I resisted my boy racer temptations and left my car unmolested and stock. Still it's nice to look at.
I saw this recently on FB and thought I'd include it here for posterity. Never saw a catalog for Mindtrain before but it clearly shows the different packages they offered for exhaust.
makes me feel like in the Pirates of the Caribean , when the un dead become mortal when the cursed coin is returned, and the un dead exclaims, "I feel old".
