Mazda Guy is just butthurt he doesn't have a GSL-SE *runs for cover*
some more jokes about which would catch fire first could be had but I think that mostly involves FC and FDs. *again runs for cover*
Long live the FB! Whichever trim it may be!
That was the beginning of the end for Pontiac, back then in the early '80's.
Japan was building sexy cars and "boing boing" commercials while Pontiac was building sexy commercials and boing boing cars.

The last Gen Fiero V6 GT was actually pretty fast. I am sure it would have walked all over a stock FB of that time. They were pretty - but those damn "Fisher Price" plastic interiors were disgusting.
great video, lol! i love the chick's socks!! of course being a kid in the 80's, that video brings back some memories of proper dress for the time. though the RX-7 owner didnt have to be so much of a *****..though the Fiero was faster, he still has the better car imo..

^+1. i used to work with a guy that had one of the 4 cyl models that eventually had an engine fire. seemed that was happening to alot of them. and i'd still take the fb over the fiero any day.
I agree on the interior, you would think Pontiac would have checked out a couple Ferrari's to see how to get it right. Might have seemed quick in it's day, but so did the Chev Citation X11 2.8l v6 as well. Bet the GSLSE felt like a rocket in its day too.
And are you referring to the X-body citations? Those things still road race around here, and they have a following much like our Fbs and SAs.
the Fiero was actually a really neat car if you look at what it was.. it wasn't bad looking, was a decent handling (later GT models) and fairly quick car.. it did not have the best build quality but GM's intentions were good. i think its the quality control that killed the Fiero. i'd own one as a driver for errands and such.
My brother had a non-GT Fiero. I killed it one day trying to impress my current girlfriend, and you guessed it, an engine fire. hahahaha
That was five years ago, and some how that didn't end the relationship. Then I bought two FBs.

The "Smokey Yunick" Fiero is the real one to have....50 mpg and 250 hp......back in the day.
