Call me crazy...
Well as of late I've been thinking about selling/trading my FB for another miata. Its kind of financially irresponsible for me to have two cars, and I pretty much only drive the RX7 to autocross events. Most importantly, after driving my beater miata around all winter and going back to my FB I'm rather disappointed. It just just feels so much 'looser' and not as sporty as my stock miata, even though it's performance is better. I could get rid of my FB and my miata for a pretty stout miata and still come out money ahead.
My only problem here is that I've got my FB where I want it, and its really my dream car. I always said I'd never sell it, and I know I'd regret doing so, but its really getting to be more logical to part ways. I think I'm going to wait out and autocross it a few more times before I make the decision, but its something I've been mulling over.

OK....you're crazy.
Granted I really don't care whether you straight up trade the car for a 2000 Civic with a fart can and a gigantic wing..... but you clearly state "I've got my FB where I want it, and its really my dream car". and "I always said I'd never sell it, and I know I'd regret doing so"....
Like Mazdaverx said." your 7 is 28 years old and it needs no apologies".
Your car ... Your choice, but if want somebody to tell you to keep the car, then; "WHAT ARE YOU NUTS?! KEEP THE FRIGGIN CAR MAN"!
I hope this helped

Thanks for all the input guys. I get tons of compliments on both of my cars actually. If I was to sell the FB I could walk away with a faster car at the track, less expenses, and more money in my savings, so it just kinda makes sense right now. What kind of price would you guys expect I could get for my car?
82 GSL
85000 miles
Original motor
Working AC, very clean leather interior
Everything works
New tires on 14" LE Rims
Full RB exhaust
Tokico Blues on Eibach springs
The bad? Paint is pretty rough, but there's nothing out of the ordinary given its age. For me to sell it I'd need to get atleast $4000, is that out of the question?
