Team SMS I'm sorry someone put that rat bastard second gen eclipse at your house. Looks like my house right now I have a friend's/customers in my garage hogging up all the room. Big fat bastard of a car. IS that one at least turbo and AWD?

Watch out your property value could be dropping while I type this. Just kidding they are fun when they work right.

the pictures were actually taken at my friends house and thats his 1999 Eclipse GST...its got...ADFX FMIC (discontinued and said to be one of the best made for this car), HKS BOV, tial Wastegate, brand new coil packs and spark plugs, tokico illiuma's, eibach sport-line springs, 17" wheels, FP 60-1 turbo, turbonetics turbo mani, Thermal turbo-back 3" exhaust, HKS gauges, triple pillar pods, Super AFC2, oldschool electronic boost controller, also has DSM link engine management...ALSO has a 35-45k JDM 7bolt motor just installed along with a SPEC stage 3 clutch just installed...we put about 800 miles on it to break in the clutch but since it has a huge leak from the intake manifold whenever it hits boost it cuts out. The ECU is pretty much in "limp" mode right now. He is actually trying to sell it as we speak...only thing it needs now is: intake manifold needs to be pulled off and resurfaced so it sits on the block right and doesnt leak (last engine overheated and warped it)....it will run after that fine with a little tuning on the SAFC2 but if you wanted to get a socketed ecu and then install DSM link...you could go get it tuned and it would run like a dream...also needs a turbo rebuild. If anybody is interested in this car...pm me.

PS...also forgot to put in there that it has all the needed fuel upgrades to run the bigger turbo and everything....walbro fuel pump, 750cc injectors i believe, and a modified fuel rail with an aeromotive FPR.

I would love to post pics, but the previous owner painted the car maroon. The interior is still brown and in good shape, but the respray isn't that good and some body work needs to be done. I think I am going to repaint the car back to the brown, but I have also kicked around going to an off white, or doing a complete color change including the interior. Brown would be the easiest, origional, and I do like it. As previously stated, it really does grow on ya'. I do agree, I would like to see all the brown car fans/owners post the pics on this thread. I think it would help me as well to make the decision to back to stock on the color. The plan is to do a period correct modded street car anyway, so I think it would work.

Thanks. Wish I still had that one. May she R.I.P.

Vashner-Yes it was a 83 GSL.

Pics of the replacement one and the one in the left corner is the one that got me interested in the 7's. It was my Dads car that he bought brand new in 83. A 83 GSL also.
