GA BAD Weekend

My boss at Balanced Performance let me use his GSL-SE for the most recent NASA-SE event at Road Atlanta.
Things started with my debit card info getting stolen and my checking account getting cleaned out at a Best Buy half way across the country on Friday. The bank was great and they helped me out and took care of it all.
Next morning, I get out on track. Having a great time, but the car got loose and I hit the wet grass followed by the concrete wall. Now I have a frame to pull and some paint and body to do.
Load the car up. Boss says bring it back when I am done fixing it. Pulling in the driveway at home, I am met by stepson coming out of the driveway at a high rate of speed. He stuffed the nose of my Ford Taurus underneath the front bumper of my Ford truck.
Yes, 3 wrecked vehicles in one day.

Wow. Ouch. That's gotta be some kind of record. Sorry for your losses.

Stop by the next OGTA meeting, I'll buy you a beer. I'd like to hear about the details.

at least no one was hurt, imagine having a two car collision with injuries. Emergency room, doctors, chiropractors, bills, insurance won't pay, lawsuits........and a mad thug rapper wanna be felon with spinning wheels

60% of cops' activity is spent on traffic accidents.

Ah, my little turquoise porsche 914, RIP aug '87

The monthly OGTA meeting is the first Tuesday of the month (next one, October 1) at the Tilted Kilt near the Mall of Georgia in Buford. Things usually get going around 6:30, most show up around 7:00.

OGTA is short for Old Guys with 12As, but lately it's been more like all kinds of guys with all kinds of rotaries. There's usually a pretty good turn out and a good opportunity to meet rotor heads, find parts and solve problems. Like, how you are going to fix all those cars.
