Anyone ever use RB's Exhaust tubing?

Anyone ever use these to build an exhaust system? I have had two of their 2.5"
tubes and used it as breaker bars . Now I want to actually use them in my
exhaust system. My current exhaust bangs on my axle on bumps, gets annoying
quite fast. What I will be using is from the RB header, to two Borla's, then over the
axle to the last Borla. Granted, I will only need a little of the straight tubing, how
much of the U bend pipe will I need? I am leaning towards 2 of them?

I haven't used just their piping, but I have the entire system. Tubing seems to be very heavy gauge, so it should help to avoid the "tinny" sound that thin tubing seems to produce.

3 Borlas?!? Holy **** man! Just wondering why you want the extra Borlas, rather than using their presilencers. I'm sure you have a reason, just want to know what it might be.

I've been thinking about getting rid of my RB muffler and switching over to a Borla this year. I'd like to increase the sound level a tad, and if it flows better then that would be nice too. But my RB system is just too quiet for my tastes.

Their presilencers (from what I hear) don't really silence that much. 3 Borla's because I can use them til they rot, then get them replaced for free I have a borla and generic fleabay muffler on the rear and it is much too loud. I loved it when I first got it, but now I wouldn't mind talking to my passengers.

I read that and Dan's make your muffler thread too. I would love to do what rotarygod talks about but the RB header's collector is a bottleneck in itself.

i'm using an RB collector on mine, so far, and the wall thickness is easily twice the "normal" exhaust pipe.

if i have time i'll snap a pic, the RB pipe is BEEFYx3

i'd think you would want 2 bends.

Be careful when you order the u-bends. Seems their site has a slight glitch on the 2.5" u-bend page when you click the add to cart button (see the ^25^^"> there?).

If you save this html code to your computer and click the link, it works. I simply edited it slightly. No viruses or trojans. lol
Code:
<html>

<head>
<title>Racing Beat Results Set</title>

<base target="_blank">

</head>

<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000" link="#FF0000" vlink="#FF0000">

<div align="center"><center>

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
  <tr>
    <td><div align="left">

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" bordercolor="#000000" cellpadding="0">
      <tr>
        <td><img src="photos/16189.jpg" border="0"></td>
      </tr>
</table>

    </div></td>
    <td valign="top" align="right"><font face="Arial" size="4"><strong>U-Bend Pipe 2.5" OD<br>4-inch Radius</strong></font><br>
    <br>
	<form method="POST" action="https://www.racingbeat.com/cgi-bin/cartit.exe">

    <font face="Arial" size="3"><strong>Part Number: 16220</strong></font>
<br>

    <font face="Arial" size="3"><strong>Retail Price: $20.00<br> Qty:</strong></font>
	<input type="text" size="3" name="Quantity" value="1"><br>
	<input type="hidden" NAME="cartitadd" VALUE="16220-U-Bend Pipe 2.5 OD<br>4-inch Radius^20^^">
	<input type="image" src="images/AddToCart.gif" border="0" WIDTH="80" HEIGHT="27" hspace="0" vspace="1"><br>

	</p> </form>

</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td><br>
    </td>
    <td valign="top" align="right"></td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td colspan="2"><br>
    <p><font face="Arial" size="2"><b>U-Bend Pipe 2.5" OD - 4" Radius</b><br><br>
We offer 2.5-inch OD U-bend tubes with a 4-inch centerline bend radius for use in fabricating a custom exhaust system. The tubing used for this component is 2.5-inch O.D., mandrel bend mild steel with .125-inch wall thickness. </font></td>
  </tr>
</table>
</center></div>
<p><font face="Arial" size="2"></font></p>
</body>
</html>
Or if you decide to call to place your order, let them know there is a glitch. Thanks.
