any vendors that sell the SA airdam
I put a WTB in the for sale section, but thought someone here might know where one can be purchased. Mazdatrix used to carry them but it is now discontinued.
Thanks,
Shaun

I am surprised to see so many people looking to buy one of these. When I talked to Mazdatrix, they said that the reason they stopped carrying it after they switched fiberglass vendors was because they didn't see a demand. I will call them back and point this thread. Perhaps see how many they would require to do a new run. I know Pineapple did the REPU valances a while back, they might be worth asking as well since I heard those came out well.
Also,
I talked with someone, who knows someone, who thinks he knows someone who has this mold. The one guy is quite reputable and on this forum, so we will see how it goes.

Update - It looks like I found a vendor for these. I have the link on my work computer, but they contacted me and said 219 + 65 shipping. I will post the info tomorrow.

They are fiberglass. I can't find the website at the moment, I will be able to post it up tomorrow. I guessthey do all cars, but I found an rx7 section with mostly first gen stuff and saw a pic of it on there. Fingers Crossed it all works out.

Here is the page, the photos arent the best and I would assume they have had these molds for quite some time.
http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/rx7.html
If you surf their site, they have a mind boggling selection of items.
I spoke with Rob from there today, the sketchs are hard to make out. But the STD airdam "left and in the middle" seems to be the one we want. I am going to email him the pic I posted in this thread so he can verify just to be 100% sure.
FYI - they do not take credit card. I looked at their ebay store and they do have 715 feed back with 98% positive. The only negative I saw was turnaround time, but he was straight forward telling me it would be at least 3 weeks since they have a heavy workload right now.
On another note, he said that he was certain they have other items for the 1st gens not listed on the site. Hood??????
Hope this can help, I will be ordering one next week probably and will keep everyone updated on how it turns out.
