So I am starting my semi-resto on my 83 LE again after a 3 year break from the project. I bought her 3 years ago in Feb and paid $1000. Car looked really good no rust but needed some TLC. Found out later on Im the 2nd owner - the dealership I got her from and it been in VA its entire life.
So is there any left?? I checked the SE & LE Registry doesnt seem to be many of them out there.

 

there's a few around here but not a ton. its the one 7 thats always eluded my ownership..

 

I think there are 2 currently for sale on Craigslist here in Texas. one has been sitting for ages but is all original, the other has been sitting for ages but has been painted white.

 

You have a pretty amazing collection though!! I got pretty lucky with my find I have had about 10 RX-7s total but never knew the 83 LE was a rare bird, when I found it the LE 14" mesh wheels were missing but I have got my hands on a complete set with center caps. This weekend I am re painting the engine bay and going to put the motor back in it shortly after, then tax return time I will send the car to the body shop for a complete re-paint in the factory color
