85 RX7 stalled at speed?

I was driving on the highway today and I stalled out at speed (70mph) luckily as always, I had enough shoulder to pull over. Car started right back up at least when I cranked it again.

The carb was tuned earlier in the summer time, seems like Im getting good spark, so Im thinking the culprit could be it flooding? I had a similar situation where I didnt stall out at speed but it felt like it was in limp mode where full throttle gave me like 100 rpm, restarted the car and it was fine again.

not sure what it might be but some guidance is appreciated!

I had symptoms like that with a failing igniter. In my experience after a flood my 12a would not restart unless plugs removed dried, etc
