Hi there! I have a 83 GSL, stock 12a. I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to do a custom exhaust for it rather than buying an RB setup. Full stainless, full tig.

I’m hoping there’s some folks in here that could lend some insight on some of the specifics of how they did theirs. I’m not sure on tubing size, whether a dual setup like RB’s street port exhaust would be beneficial or if a regular single all the way through would be fine. I’d prefer a single just for ease. I only consider the dual because I’ve heard that there’s a little more performance to be had going that route. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Also looking for recommendations for mufflers, or rather some sound clips as well. I was pointed in the direction of Borla, Magnaflow and Stainless Bros so that’s where I’m leaning currently.

A set of extractors and a single 2 1/2 inch system will be good with 2 off set center Magnaflow mufflers

 

A two in to 1 long primary extractors then 2 1/2 inch single system with 2 off set center Magnaflow mufflers is all you need
