2nd monthly classic japanese car gathering 3-4-12

Managed to escape from life for a little over an hour yesterday

a couple of pics of a few of the cars we took to support the local scene and of course as representatives of our local rotories

I like that Hunter Green. Needs a tan leather interior, with plaid inserts, to be truly Faux Breetish, though.

First sportscar I ever saw and fell in love with was a Triumph Spitfire in that color scheme.

I think I was about 11, and I can still see that car in my mind's eye.

first I actually drove was an MG Midget ... nearly 30 years later I am curious how it would go with 12A in one ... ok start the flaming ppl lol

( second thought I am not sure I'd fit in one now )

yup thats 1140 spent the night before buffing the oxidation and car actually shines now wooot

my friend had a bugeye sprite and in a straight line it was slow, but its so small and light, that if you throw a curve in that slow car is seriously fast!

we needed 300hp hp FD with viper sized tires to keep up....

double the power (and probably drop a couple pounds, stock its 50hp/1300lbs, a 12A is 120hp/1250lbs?) and you've built something serious!
