215/50-13 Photos?

Does anyone have photos of 215/50-13 Sumitomo HTR 200 on stock + rims and stock ride height? Side views of the entire car would be especially useful.

I cannot decide whether to get these or the Sumitomo 205/60-13. And I am sure that it will open up the deate again about which is better, but I need the pics to decide.

Yes, I just did a search and came up with nothing.

I guess if there are no fender/strut interference issues the 215 would be OK - have the Summi 205s and L-O-V-E them, so they are plenty for me...

I remember seeing a picture on the forum of an SA fitted with 215/50-R13s and clearly thinking at the time that they left too much open space in the wheel well for my tastes. I believe HTR 200's fit better in 205/60-13.

Recommend reading through the numerous 13" tire posts regarding clearance issues with struts / fenders.

There are alot of people on the site running the 215 tire who have reported no problems with clearance. I've seen some photos of just the tire and rim in the wheel well and they do leave alot of space.
Stu's 205 tires look good, but I am always looking for just that little extra rubber on the road.

Just wanted to see the whole car with these tires.

Anyone?

i run 215/50/13 on my SA with stock suspension. no rubbing issues ever. car handles pretty well with them. you will get use to the looks with the smaller tires. they are 13 inch rims remember so they will look small.

I run 205s and the clearance is so close that I'm sure 215s would rub in the front under cornering. Rears should be okay. I seem to remember Rx7Carl had 205s in the front and 215s in the rear for that reason.

In the front I can't fit my fingertip between the tire and the spring. It may very well depend on your springs - I have RB.

Looking good Keeble. Yea, I think it will take me some time to get coilovers.
Still undecided.
Any other pics out there?

Not sure if you me me (stu) or stu from alaska... I have posted 205's on the forum before... I know you want 215's but if you would like 205 pictures then let me know

I have ran 215-50-15 before on a first gen, but never taken it out on the street.

I was actually replying to Alaska Stu. But I do already have some photos of your clean ride with the 205 tires which look good and chunky.
Thanks anyway for the offer!

Not quite the size you're looking for, they're 225/45/50/D13 on 13X8 rims. The car does have lowering springs too. These are Hoosier Autocross tires, sidewall is only 2-1/2" tall. Car looks like it's on roller skate wheels, lol. Wheels are still for sale.
