NM Is this paint scheme original?

I was told by the owner that he was trying to make it look original, yet when I look at others from this board, I don't see any that have the pin-striping or the band under the door. He had it painted about 5 years ago and I'd hate to have to repaint it just because of some simple stuff like it never existed in the scheme.

All pinstripes were dealer options. Most tended to follow a general pattern, but that's the first one I've seen with the wide strip painted on the bottom. They may have been trying to mimic a stainless steel band that was an option package, but I don't remember if the dealer or an aftermarket supplier made the SS strip. The SS strip was often installed with the fake targa band.

i think i've only seen pics of that stripe but it's usually in a black painted car...and i'm not sure, but i think it was like a targa top thing.

Maybe I'll try and photoshop a targa on to it and see what that looks like. I already bought it, so that's not an issue.
