Can u run two msd 6a boxes on the leading side? One box per coil in direct fire wasted spark? By possibly splitting the signal wire from distributor? I've done it before with one 6a.

probably would work but don't really know. question is why when one msd is all that's required. ur not accomplishing any more by adding another one.

A single msd 6a should be plenty. Now if you are talking regular liquid filled coils or solid state E coils, then yes it makes a huge difference to use one per plug.

you could run 2 MSD's on the leading, but it is way way way overkill. you should just use one for the leading and have the second as a spare when the first one dies

A friend tried to do it with 2 big *** Mallory coils and two Accel 300+ CD boxes and it's not working with the signal wire split to each CD box. In theory I thought it would work. I prefer two stock ignighters with two coils in direct fire wasted spark for the leading. Over the single CD box.

It works runs like a champ with two Accel 6a boxes or 300 what ever they are same exact thing as msd 6a .and two Mallory coils. He didnt have a good plug connection for the leading signal wire on the distributor. This is on the leading side in wasted spark each leading coil has it's own CD box. I don't think it's a over kill. They were designed to work with one coil and one box on v8 engines. Got the boxes brand new for $100 each. Trailing ignition is stock.
