1st snow this year!

Here in Jefferson, GA, about 50 miles NE of Atlanta:

Yesterday afternoon (Friday) when it was just getting going:



And some from 6:30 a.m. this morning:

cool pics!! i'm still suprised that it snows in georgia! we got 10 inches last weekend and a few more early in the week. i despise the snow.

we got the 4" that was predicted. hoping now that the roads clear up enough so i can go get those carbs.

Here's the shot at 12:00 noon today (Saturday). Blue skies, 36 degrees and rising (40 is the predicted high today, 48 degrees tomorrow). Looks like it won't be around too long:

i hate you all... we have 2 feet on the ground at least, and i drove buy a 10-11ft snow drift the other day, ill have to get a picture of it tomorrow.

the other night at work i was driving through a parking lot looking for a good place to sit to catch a speeder and thoguht of Ray and this snow. so, i snapped a pic of this snow mound that was as tall as the semi parked next to it. snow and cold suck.

That's a lot of snow Dave.

You can drive your 7 all year here in Georgia and there are pretty good employment opportunities in most fields. Come on down you guys!

In the mean time, let's see some more photos of your snow up there.
