it's kinda funny that it was the 280ZX that started my love affair with Z-cars, but after growing up, they are now towards the bottom of my list. i don't care for the 300ZX (Z31) much either. however, the Z32 re-ignited my love and it hasn't really waned since then. i went to a dealer with the intentions to buy a 350Z February 2007. i drove it and somehow came home with an Rx-8. much as i love the Z33, to me it seemed to lack the soul of the Rx-8 and even the Z32. my love for rotaries began in 1987, so it pre-empted the Z32 by 3 years.

i agree with the SA/FB and the Rx3 as future collectables they are honestly almost there now.

I can kind of see what they are saying with the FC but only because a used S5 vert sold for decent money at BJ this year.

Although I would love to add the R100 and Repu to that list it would tear up the diversity needed to make them collectable. honestly there aren't enough R100s and there aren't enough nice REPUs to draw the attention of the main stream press, 7s can still be had a dime a dozen almost and there are some nice 3s coming out

i kinda see what you're saying, but i'd have to disagree a bit because none of our cars are really "mainstream" (perhaps maybe the FD) and so the only collectors that would be concerned with the R100 or REPU would be people that are into rotaries and know what they are. at least, that's my thought on it.

Will do! Thanks for the heads up...I went to the recaro site and all their seats are new modern designs..(imagine that!!??) I love the old 80's old school recaros...

I guess I could keep an eye out on ebay... prolly most used ebay units will be pretty worn..
