there are 5 colors that got the bronze glass and painted mirrors after 4/85, vin 893766 or higher (it shows production goes until 8/85, 912600, but i don't know that i have seen a car that late). i should point out that 4/85 is pretty late in the production run too, its only a few boat loads of cars. i've never seen any literature on it, except its in the parts fische.
the colors are noble white, brilliant black, tender blue, sunbeam silver, and royal maroon metallic
all of the other colors get normal glass and mirrors

I have 2 '79LE's. Both have green tinted glass.
I suspect it is the '83LE that had the Blue, then. The '81 was kind of a blah year.
.
Hope someone can steer me as I intend to have one of the '79LE's painted "screen of death" blue with a little metal flake. Blue tinted glass would set it off perfectly!
