1981 JDM brochure
Fungus Mungus was able to score me a 1981 JDM dealer brochure. its a single page foldout thing, so it is not as detailed as some of the larger ones (i've got an FC brochure, which is ~15 pages, all pictures shot at the nurburgring)
so cliff notes;
1. the models have different names, but loosely are the same as the US.
2. they have 130ps vs 105hp, i would bet that the JDM cars got the N210 rotor housing, which had larger exhaust ports (~10hp), they still had the same, or similar catalyst exhaust that we did. the hp to ps is about 15.
3. fuel economy seems to be a big deal. in addition to the revisions of the engine for 81, the JDM cars got a 3.7 rear diff, vs the US 3.9.
4. the mustache the guy on the cover has is awesome, hard to see though.
5. everything except the GT-Limited is on steel wheels, and the GT limited got the rotor wheels.

That's really awesome! Thank you for sharing! I have an FD brochure from Japan that is quite a few pages and very detailed. Can't read a thing of course but its neat to see the different trim levels.

i was a little surprised that this was just a fold out, i have an FC and a couple FD brochures and they are both multipage. the FC one is pushing 20 pages, all photography is shot at the nurburgring too, and 1991 is like 20 years before it was a thing.
