Thanks for the kind comment! I do try to keep her up and she's not looking too shabby for a 30 year old.
I guess there are not a whole lot of photographers in the group cuz I'm surprised nobody has asked me to give more details on how I did the shot?!!!!!

The rig allows the camera to take a long exposure shot of the car while the car is rolling slowly. Since the camera is physically attached to the car, it travels with the car and keeps it in sharp focus, while the spinning wheels and background become blurred giving the impression of speed (even though I was pushing the car very slowly to minimize camera shake)
I used a 9mm lens which gave a field of view only large enough to see half the car. Looking at getting a wider lens for future attempts. The second must have is a very dark neutral density filter which allows very long exposures (10 seconds in this case) even during daytime sunlight.
The hardest part was removing the camera rig from the image, I would definitely place it differently the next time to make post processing easier.

its more obvious now seeing the orginal picture of the edit, the trick will be getting the camera in the same position without it's rig on the car, and on the ground,.. but i could easily make a c shaped rig and bolt to it where the tow hooks are, and keep it completely out of the frame from the get go. but i have aluminum/steel welding fab ability...
your mount is nice because of the adjust-ability, a bolt on mount may on fit 2 or 3 locations of the front and rear...
i would put on in the rear, and put some of those twist in spring spacers to raise my front end like 2 inches and then do the shot again, make it look like it's launching.. you can get spring spacers that are quick to install and remove. but the front might be a pita... you could just stuff a block a wood..its only for the shot.. you could take it further and compress the rears abit, or put some heavy stuff in the rear to make it sink....just tossing more ideas.

Maybe paint your rig a single color (like a green screen) and get the identical shot without the rig
then overlay it somehow to fill on the details that are green from the other pic. I've never done this
so its just me talking out my ***.
