From what I could see it didn't look like he was going that fast.

...all I know is I walked on a 1998 BMW 535i the other evening......hitting over 8500 RPM in 4th, keeping even, then slamming 5th and just leaving him in the dust....this is with a N.A.S.A. spec 12A streetport...fully balanced and blueprinted fed by a heavily modified Hitachi!

It was great fun....especially with a few newly acquired dents making it look a bit rough. I would have loved to have seen the look on his/her face! Speed was an easy 120+...at around 6000 in 5th.

He was playing with you. No way you trounced a 535. I own a 328, and my 7 would never be able to touch it in a straight line. Sorry buddy, but I think he was the one who was laughing.

Not really.....light-*** GSL with a killer 12A.....this was not straight line neither....this was all highway speeds....3rd-4th-5th hitting 8500+.....it sure said 535 on the rear with HID's trying rrrrreeeeeaaaaalllll hard to keep up. $1800 vs. $50K+....and YES...he was trying.....

....come by SoCal anytime and I'll take you for a ride.....the Rx2 is even faster!

I'm using a megasquirt, we toped out at 119, i wasn't driving, i was in the passengers seat and the video was taken on my phone, that is why it was so bad.

I am using the megasquirt only to control the 2nd gen ignition setup, it is still using a racing beat manifold and 600cfm holley. I did this because of the limited advancing adjustments with the stock dizzy. Now I have much more low end torque and we are still working on high end performance.
