You'll need TII rotors and calipers for all four corners. TII rear rotors are vented like the front ones so your calipers won't work. You might also need new lines to the calipers but I'm not sure on that one. I plan on swapping some TII brakes on my 90 GTU as well.

I thought all the S5 had 4 pistons brakes? I guess not then.
Did the GXL have it?

The series 5 GTU and 91 coupe did not have the 4 piston brakes standard (although they were an option on the 91 coupe).

as far as the conversion it has been covered a few times, incendui may wish to use the search function in the upper right hand corner of this page. I would just search the 2nd gen stuff.

As I recall it involves switching the hubs, rotors, flex-lines, calipers, and pads. Ideally you may also want to switch the master cyl.

Rotors are same (single or quad piston), according to my FSM. That means the hubs should be the same too.

Should only need calipers, pads, and the caliper hardlines.
