13b Oil fill tube

Does the oil fill tube thread into the intermediate iron, or is it pressed in? Also is it a good idea to use my S5 intermediate iron in my turbo build? My turbo iron is kinda gouged. The motor is being ported anyway. So I guess my real question is if I put a turbo intake port template on the na intermediate iron, will I be able to make it a "turbo iron"? (notice quotation marks.) I know that I would need to drill and tap the iron for the center bolt for the intake manifold.

Thanks.

It sort of presses in.

The NA iron has abit less casting around the ports, but from what I remember the manifold ports line up.

Thank you very much. It looks like I'm just going to cut the fill tubes and weld the turbo tube onto the n/a iron.

I don't understand why you would do that. The tube can be removed by wiggling it up, with the help of a long lever. Then the other tube can be tapped in with a hammer.

Oh...... hahaha. I guess that would be a more sensible solution. Again, thanks for the advice.

I tapped the old one out and tapped the new in. Worked like a charm and only took about 2 minutes to complete. Again, thanks for the advice. It is appreciated.
