Hello all... current rx8 owner (with pics)
I bought my rx8 a few years ago when I needed a new daily driver and was about to come back to school. I needed a back seat, reasonable reliability and wanted to stick with NA...
Well as I get close to finishing up school the rx7 bug is biting again and I think I might take a hint and sell the 8 for a 7 over the next year. Just thought I'd post a few pics of the rx8 for any universal rotory-lovers on the forum.
Look forward to racking up 10 posts.

my dad has one and man that car is fun to drive. Yeah its no FD, its not the fastest on the road, but it handles great and its nice to wind a factory car out to 9000rpms every once in awhile.
To be honest it reminds me ALOT of the integra Type-R in terms of handling and power.
Ive seen a few with just a lowering job and some wheels and an exhaust and they look an sound SICK,
nice car man

Thanks, it really is a blast. The most similar experience I have had is driving a 1st gen s2000. Similar redline but the 4-cyl feels like it's really doing something odd to creep up to 9k... whereas the rx8 feels like it could spin forever. Definitely the smoothest power band I could ever imagine.
Welcome~ I had a RX-8 for a few months. Eventhough it lacked a bit of power, but it was fun to drive, and practical too. I am sure my experience would've been even better if I didn't own it during the period with the highest gas prices...
