looking for any one that my have helped wire this car

im tring to find any one here in houston that may have helped brad(the guy i bought my rx7 from) wire up the mega squirt set up in my 1986 rx7 with an s5 turbo motor swap...went to finally mount the ecu and found that there was some wires lose and had come out of the plug in and im not sure where they go. i tried looking at diyautotune.com since i think thats where he got the set up from, but the wires are diffrent colors then what they have listed. so im at a loss right now with my car dead in the garage tell i can figure out where the wires went lol..thanks for any help

Man that sucks to hear. There are a few people in the Houston RX-7 club that could help you get it wired correctly. I know Philip has a MegaSquirt, and Fred helps him from time to time. Fred is very knowlegdable and his expert advise is not to be taken for granted.

hey there, just found this thread.
Anyway, yup, dom is right, Fred did your harness... and the problem with ordering a new one is they don't make one for and RX-7 that i know of, you'll probably kinda be starting over with that because you'll end up with a generic harness and have to put all your rx-7 related plugs and fuel injecotr resistors on it..... i'd say just try to fugure out where the wires go and fix that one.

Cool beans. Keep us updated on your quest. We are always here to help out. I've never wired up a MS but it can't be too hard right? LOL...maybe for me. But yes, keep us updated on your status.

I also hope to keep everything running by then. If I make this meet, it will be the first time in over 3 years that I will attend 2 consecutive meetings arriving in Rotary Power!!!
