Hey I'm about to buy a TII because the guy got a ref ticket for modified intake, bov, and no pre-cats (even though they just end up blowing up the engine -_-)
Question is:

Do I need to buy the car as is since he doesn't want to do all the ref crap? If so am I liable for the ref stuff? Or do I just smog it regularly and register it under my name? On top of that am I subject to any hidden fines or fees? My dad completely flipped out on me saying that I would be responsible for all the ref stuff/tickets/etc and that doesn't seem right...any help would be appreciated.
