I was planning on buying some wheels soon.

i was going to go with 16x7 16x8 +35 both

my car is N/A FC bone stock engine (teh slow) I want to go with 16s because tires are cheaper and better gas milage if that even effects it opposed to 17s

any suggestions?

 

best sizing is a loaded question with alot of opinions and alot of different correct answers

get some used FD wheels
buy stuff from rishie and bolt them on

BTW just get 16X8 +35 (+35~30) all around, at least you'll beable to rotate them, have wider wheels/more rubber on the ground.

225/50/16 would be optimal, you might need to stick with a 30 offset. After a search on tirerack.com, theres a TON of tires in that size (over 83 different tires in that size). Stock being 205/60/15 = 24.69" tall and 8.07" wide vers the 225/50/16 which is 24.86" tall and 8.86" wide.

FD 16x8 wheels are light as hell. and cheap as hell.

in other words, good performance for a great price.

if you wanted something comparable in aftermarket you'd have to spend alot of moola.
